Requirements calculated based off only Decorus and Sage being run from and used on the server. For large numbers of user’s resources will consolidate more efficiently meaning less resources will be required overall.
Please be aware that compatibility issues have been known to occur in environments running HyperV and Citrix based virtual machines. Our recommendation is that you use an alternative hyper-visor or a local Windows Server installation when hosting Decorus and Sage from a server.
We recommend using a VMWare hypervisor when hosting Decorus and Sage from a server to ensure compatibility. Alternate solutions are not supported.

LAN setups are not recommended, however can be used to run the software. A stable and fast network is essential for the safe transmission of data and smooth performance within the software. To accommodate this your network will require:
If there are more than 3 Users that will be on the system at any one time on a LAN, software performance will degrade significantly. At this point a dedicated solution such as a Cloud/Remote Access Server will be required. (If you have any questions about running Decorus from a server please contact us on – 0114 2307 305)

Customers are responsible for the backups of their data. Backing up daily ensures that minimal work is lost if any user or program error takes place. We recommend keeping multiple copies of backups on both local drives and on the data server. Additionally, external backups such as USB flash drives, external hard drives or server backup routines are also recommended.
Decorus is compatible to the following Sage versions; Sage 50c, Sage 50 2010 – 2023, Sage 50 Essentials and Sage Instant Accounts 2010 – 2016. Sage or the Sage data service will need to be installed in the location hosting the Sage data and preferably on the users PC. Decorus can link to Sage and use Sage data without having Sage installed on the same PC however, please let us know if you plan to do this as additional setup is required.
